Rectangular box with flat lid made of gilded bronze decorated with vegetal elements in relief that are arranged on all sides, including the back. In the upper area, the lid, is ornamented and is enriched with the presence of a miniature located in the center. It shows a painted scene of figurative character starring Venus and Cupid.
This type of pieces reached great popularity during the 19th century, becoming an object of luxury and social significance, in such a way that its quality and good taste distinguished the taste of its owner.
