Set of three Sheraton style chairs; England, early 20th century.

They show restorations and damages caused by xylophagous.

Set of three chairs with wooden structure. All of them have the same design with openwork back. The chairs follow the style of the English cabinetmaker Thomas Sheraton (1751-1806), a personal neoclassicism that enjoyed great success at the time and also in the nineteenth century. Thus, we see a stylized structure, with elegant, classically curved lines, with sabre-like legs and a special taste for the natural grain of the wood.
