It arrived in Spain as a gift from Louis XVI to the Count of Aranda at the end of his time as ambassador in Paris. As for the table, it follows in its design all the splendor of the Louis XVI style. It rests on three legs in the form of a feline claw, which give way to a base adorned with geometric bronze appliqués. The tabletop is supported by a central leg in the form of a fluted column, with bronze appliqués and large openwork ornaments, also in bronze, that form scrolls with volutes. The board has a wooden base with a bronze border that opens in small borders, revealing porcelain enameled ornaments.
