Double bed of the firm Esteva, Figueras and successors of Hoyos. The piece of furniture, made of walnut and mahogany, stands out for its volume and monumentality, especially noticeable in its exquisite top of Gaudí reminiscences, with a foliage of sinuous profile whose moldings simulate vegetable waves. The piece joins the headboard with the bed skirt through soberly designed side chambranes. The area that remains in view has a greater ornamentation of modernist aesthetics, based on plant motifs. In fact, both the footboard and the headboard have a very similar design that stands out for the fine carving that decorates the area based on a large garland of flowers, "coups de Fouet" and in the case of the headboard also a large floral bouquet, located in the center of the top, characteristic of Art Nouveau.

The successful collective label of Esteva, Figueras y Sucesores de Hoyos was founded by the painter and decorator Joan Esteva Casals (1874-1957); the painter, portraitist and illustrator Claudio Hoyos Ayala (1875-1905) and the painter Francisco de Paula Figueras Sagués (1872-1948). After Hoyos' sudden death, it was his widow Concepción Doménech Vendrell who joined the company, adopting and including the term "Successors" in the name. The popularity that the company reached thanks to the good work of its founders led to the realization of important artistic projects by the most renowned designers of the time. The company would later become Esteva y Cía because Francisco de Paula Figueras was excluded from the project.
