Anglo-Dutch coffee table, ca. 1780.
Veneered in red stained tortoiseshell and kingwood.
The underside of the table top is numbered "204 16" and "14983" in white chalk.
In very good condition.
Measurements: 76 x 96,5 x 66 cm.

Table with typically Dutch structure raised on four flattened ball feet in ebonized wood, on which rests an H-shaped chambrana from which emerge narrower prismatic pilasters towards the base. The waist of the cabinet houses a drawer and culminates in a rectangular top. Some of the edges are decorated with geometric applications. The entire table is embellished with a tortoiseshell veneer dyed red.
