Facsimile edition, authorized by Patrimonio Nacional and made in Madrid by Grefol, of the codex Vit. I of the Library of San Lorenzo de El Escorial (A.D. 1428-1490). This miniature codex was begun between 1428 and 1435 by the French miniaturists Jean Bapteur and Péronet Lamy, although the work remained unfinished until, fifty years later, the artist Jean Colombe, from Bourges (France), author of the famous codex "The Very Rich Hours of the Duke of Berry", took over.
