Ary France bows are recognized bows in the world of music. Offering its services since 1974, Ary France manufactures bows for violin, viola, cello and double bass, always using Brazilian or Pernambuco wood.
Violin bows are traditionally made from pernambuco (or pau-brasil) wood, a material recognized for its combination of hardness, elasticity and lightness, which are essential qualities for a bow that needs flexibility and resistance. This wood comes from the Paubrasiliaechinata tree, native to Brazil, and has been the preferred choice since the 18th century because of its ability to transmit vibrations and respond precisely to the violinist's movements.
