French violin made in the 19th century following a model of the Italian luthier Bergonzi, active around 1740, as indicated on the label inside the instrument. It is characterized by the beautiful color of the wood, of brown tone. It features rounded shoulders, stylized "f" shaped ears, with scroll finials, "C" shaped recesses and headstock topped by a carved fluted scroll.
