Russian Orthodox travel cross with the representation of the expiring Christ in bronze, on enamel background. He appears surrounded by the symbols of the Passion, such as the spear and the sponge, as well as the sun and the moon, the city of Jerusalem (the Old and the New) and the skull. The cross is presided over by a Savior Christ on the cloth of Veronica and two angels. It presents inscriptions in Cyrillic alphabet.
