Welcome to a world where the realms of past and present intertwine, where the fantasy of *Alicia in Wonderland* meets the opulence of Rococo. Behold a captivating photograph, set in the grandeur of a rococo-style house, as a surreal tapestry unfolds before your eyes. In this wide open shot, immerse yourself in a visual feast of captivating detail. A girl with vibrant pink hair takes center stage, embodying playful rebellion and bold individuality. Her gaze is hidden by a mysterious
mysterious black rabbit mask, an enigmatic disguise that conceals both her identity and her intentions.
Dressed in an extravagant gown reminiscent of Velazquez's iconic *Las Meninas*, she becomes a modern muse, channeling the spirit of art history into the present. Her voluminous gown falls around her, an ethereal swirl of fabric that captures the essence of a bygone era. But there is more to this enchanting composition. As your eyes are drawn to the ground, a mesmerizing tapestry of ivy and vines is revealed. The vegetation forms an otherworldly carpet, hinting at the entrance to a rabbit hole, an extraordinary portal to a hidden wonderland. This photograph serves as a visual homage to Lewis Carroll's beloved tale, *Alicia in Wonderland*. It reimagines the concept of the rabbit hole, transforming it into a Rococo-inspired house buried beneath the surface of the earth. It invites us to embrace the allure of the unknown, to venture into a realm where reality and imagination intertwine. Within this extraordinary vision, the house becomes a sanctuary of secrets, an underground abode where fantasy reigns. It beckons the curious, the daring souls who dare to go beyond the confines of the ordinary.
With a degree in Fine Arts and specializing in image, Lidia Vives is an artistic photographer. Her work is characterized by the pictorial atmosphere, the handling of color and the dreamlike character that she manages to transmit. Her main interest at the moment of creating an image is not only the technical effect, but also the anecdotal. He is interested in people interpreting his photography, creating doubts. This makes the viewer be forced to look at it for a while and get into the story. The idea is to make it disturbing, to make it look like the character will start to move at any moment, to make it clear that they are only the frame of a sequence. He does not want to create scenes, but new worlds.
