DESCRIPTION

Italian school, XIX century.
Bust of armor.
In walnut wood.
It presents a slight lack in one shoulder.
Measurements: 46 x 40 x 20 cm (figure); 76 cm (total height).

Singular piece for its rarity and quality. Made entirely of walnut wood, it has been finely carved and carved, so that the different qualities of the armor are highlighted and defined. The chest has been chiseled with arabesque filigree. The bust has a helmet or helmet with vertical grooves, a model that was preferably used in the sixteenth century. A medallion with a portrait hangs from the neck. The pedestal, also in walnut wood, has a beautiful grain.
