The French creator Pascal Mourgue, remembered for his futuristic and innovative designs, created these chairs in the 80s. Its structure is light and essential, and stands out especially for the play of protrusions and protrusions that unfold on the legs. As with the table as a whole, the innovation of the design is represented here in the form of circular holes.
Pascal Mourgue studied sculpture at the Ecole Boulle, and later graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. He began designing furniture in 1962, always placing artistic integrity above commercial success. This love of art has led him to work in fields as diverse as sailboat design for Cartier, ornamental glass objects for Baccarat, architecture, painting and sculpture. It was not until the 1980s that he finally focused his career on home furnishings.
