DESCRIPTION
PIERO LISSONI (Milan, 1956) for LIVING DIVANI.
Pair of coffee tables "Menhir".
Stained pine wood.
Measurements: 12,5 x 80 x 80 cm (x2).
Set of coffee tables made of stained pine wood. Piero Lissoni is an architect, designer and artistic director. In 1986, Piero Lissoni and Nicoletta Canesi founded Lissoni Associates, a multidisciplinary reality that develops architectural, interior and design projects, based in Milan. Ten years later they were born: in 1996 Graph.x, a company specialized in brand development and corporate image; in 2013 Lissoni Architecture, to respond to the growing number of architectural projects internationally and in 2015 Lissoni Inc. based in New York, which deals with interior design in the United States of North America, Canada and South America. The way Piero Lissoni contributes to the world of architecture and design is not invasive, overwhelming and suffocating, but is calm yet innovative and very personal, combining his lines with the surrounding elements, be it nature or a building. Her spaces have that ordered feeling, combined with unexpected touches that characterize the whole and make it distinctive. In design his style is fluid, simple and comfortable, with a strong sense of sensible product design. Piero Lissoni has once stated, summing up his philosophy and vision, that "Aesthetics is no different in architecture, art direction, interior design or design: aesthetics is a philosophy and the guidelines are simplicity, elegance and silence".
