Belgian fireplace manufacturer Donbar designed and produced this unique metal piece in the 1970s. Like a large diamond with faceted shapes, this wall-mounted fireplace has a captivating, sculptural look.

The Don-Bar story began in Belgium in 1966. At that time, it was Charles Dombard who made the first hearth designs to be marketed in Europe. In 1980, Dombard partnered with Gilbert Dion to create the first Don-Bar company on the other side of the Atlantic. The challenge for Charles Dombard was that the design of Don-Bar fireplaces could stand the test of time without going out of style. He also designed the first central fireplaces, in particular the "9120" model that is still sold today, 50 years later.
