Multifaceted artist, Lola Anglada was formed in Barcelona and Paris, celebrating her first exhibition in the Sala Parés in Barcelona. The same year of her debut, she began her collaboration as a cartoonist with the weekly magazine "Cu-Cut! From these years she would also collaborate with prominent publications of the time such as "En Patufet", "Virolet" or "La Mainada", being in fact the only female cartoonist to collaborate with these magazines. She even founded her own magazine, "La Nuri", focused on the female public, of which a single issue was published in 1925. At the end of the First World War the artist traveled to Paris thanks to a scholarship from the French government, and there she collaborated with the publishers Hachette and Nathan. Today her former home houses a permanent museum with a large collection of her works.
