Italian lamp from the 1920's in the shape of a robust bulldog, sculpted in porcelain with great attention to detail. The figure of the dog, with an intense look and muscular body, is painted with a glossy finish that highlights its facial folds and musculature. The muzzle is puckered in a firm and realistic expression, typical of the breed. The body is mostly white, while the head has brown and black tones that accentuate its character. The eyes, large and deep-set, seem to watch with a kind of silent guard.
The most curious thing is the cable is that it seems to simulate a leash. This object is not just a lamp, but a unique decorative piece that evokes the art deco style and love for animals, popular in the design of the time.
