Oar made of carved wood with decorations that combine abstract elements combined with figurative images. The piece retains traces of pigments.
Lake Sentani is a tropical, shallow, low-lying open lake located at the northeastern end of Jayapura Regency in the Indonesian province of Papua. It is located just south of the town of Sentani. On a hill to the northwest of the Lake is a megalithic and petroglyphic site called Doyo Lama. Some archaeologists think it was built under Micronesian influence.
