French style tapestry of the late nineteenth century.
"Gallant scene".
Handmade
Framed.
Marks of use. Wear and tear.
Measurements: 80 x 70 cm; 110 x 100 cm (frame).

Hand-woven tapestry. It shows a rich combination of decorative patterns and colors. A couple in love join their cheeks and show their melancholy faces. The sumptuous Renaissance costumes and the melancholic aura of the scene lead one to think that they could be Romeo and Juliet in one of their furtive encounters.
