Classic Double Flap 26 bag, year 1989-1991.
Black quilted lambskin leather. Golden brass hardware. Front flap with CC emblem. Chanel's signature intertwined ribbon chain. Inside flap with CC emblem. Burgundy interior. Outside back flat pocket.
With interior numbering.
In excellent condition, light signs of use. Slight scratches on the interior, some marks on the edges.
Includes sticker and card.
Measurements: 26 x 15 x 6,5 cm.
The Chanel Classic Double Flap version of the bag has an additional inner flap that separates the inside of the bag from the main outer flap. Beyond the practicality of the Chanel Double Flap's multiple pockets for organizing daily essentials, a playful anecdote has long been rumored about the history of these compartments: Chanel bag loyalists say that Coco Chanel hid her love letters in the pocket between the two flaps.
