Medium reissue 2,55 double flap bag 266.
Aged cream calfskin leather. Double front flap, the outer flap with metallic twist closure and zippered pocket inside; the inner flap with snap closure and stitched CC emblem. Gold hardware. Sliding chain. Exterior flat back pocket.
Numbered inside.
In excellent condition, light signs of use.
Measurements: 28 x 18 x 8 cm.
The Chanel Classic Double Flap version of the bag has an additional inner flap that separates the inside of the bag from the main outer flap. Beyond the practicality of the Chanel Double Flap's multiple pockets for organizing daily essentials, a playful anecdote has long been rumored about the history of these compartments: Chanel bag loyalists say that Coco Chanel hid her love letters in the pocket between the two flaps.
