Lot consists of three objects carved in hard stones: an opal potiche decorated with applications in the form of cranes and trees, a character dressed in a jade tunic and a jade perfumery. Objects of Chinese origin have been known in the West since ancient times. Once the trade was regularly organized, from the 17th century onwards, the East India Companies supplied Chinese artists with European models, both for forms and decoration.
