Collection of fourteen spearheads, arrowheads and daggers; Nurestan, western Iran, ca. 1000 BC.
Bronze.
Measurements: between 11.5 and 39 cm in length.
Collection consisting of a total of fourteen bronze pieces, from Nuristan and dated to around 1000 BC. The lot includes five spearheads, the largest pieces, all with a triangular, double-edged blade, with a central rib. We also see eight arrowheads of different sizes, all again with triangular blades, although presenting different designs in width and length. Finally we find a dagger of stylized design, with a straight hilt ending in a flat rounded pommel.
