The female figure in tender shows the influence of the Hellenistic Greek arts in the Punic culture. The author treats with virtuosity the woman represented, in round bulk, worked by means of a realistic and meticulous treatment of the hairstyle, although her face still denotes the inheritance of the classic idealization. The headdress of her hair and the treatment of the tunic seek to characterize the young woman, as well as to bring realism to the work.

Punic art inherited the aesthetics of Phoenician culture, whose main characteristic was the lack of distinctive elements, as a result of creating a mixed culture with characteristics of the various peoples with whom they maintained their trade, Egypt, Assyria, Asia Minor, and Greece. The relations with the Greeks gradually introduced among them the Hellenic arts, being many times carried out by Greek artists.
