Measurements: 88 cm. high (without base); 107 x 32 cm. (total).
Roman terracotta amphora of the Dressel type (typology 7-11) with an ovoid body, rimmed lip and high, cylindrical, slightly truncated cone-shaped neck. It has two lateral handles. This type of amphora was used for the maritime trade in packaged products: to contain salted fish or to transport salted foodstuffs.
