Hand knotted, in 100% wool, using the Turkish knot and with a density of 32,400 knots/m2. The warp and weft are made of cotton.

Empire style rug.
Second half of the twentieth century, brand new.
Hand knotted, in 100% wool, using the Turkish knot and with a density of 32,400 knots/m2. The warp and weft are made of cotton.
Measurements: 265 X 315 cm.
Empire style rug with design based on the book "Tapis de la Couronne" by the publisher C.H.Massin, Paris 1911. It is a book of plates, that compiles furniture, tapestries and carpets of the Palais de les Tuileries that Napoleon had built.
