Tapestry "Verdure". Gobelins style, first half of the twentieth century.

With anagram at the bottom.

Measurements: 307 x 79 cm.
Tapestry inspired in the textiles of verdure of the Manufacture Royales des Gobelins of Paris. Of vertical format, in the central scene is represented a lake landscape and a forest animated by two birds. The wild plants grow forming a wild foliage in a variety of green, blue and earthy tones. It has a triple border, the central one with a double ribbon intertwined between garlands.
