Persian hand-knotted rug, with a design of floral ornaments that starts from a central rosette that expands in successive lobed borders that develop in complex and dense interlacing of tulips, borders and bouquets. It has a triple border, the central one wider and decorated with vegetal patterns. Red, ochre, beige, blue and white tones predominate. These carpets are knotted in the sacred city of Ghom, in central Persia. The material used to make them is silk, which makes them fine and compact. These carpets are very well elaborated and, in some cases, are decorated in great detail.
