Karadag kilim in wool. Of contemporary design, it presents geometric patterns in the form of a checkerboard that combines vertical lines with horizontal stripes. Resolved with bichrome in white and light brown.
A Karadag kilim is a type of hand-woven rug that comes from the Karadag region, located in northwestern Iran, near the city of Tabriz. Kilims are pile-less rugs and are distinguished by their geometric patterns and flat weaving method.
