Murano glass vase, 20th century

Murano glass vase, twentieth century.
Measurements: 31 x 16 x 19 cm.
Vase made in Murano glass, starting from a basic and organic form on which supports the figure of a fish, head up, whose open mouth serves as the mouth of the vase itself. The base on which it rests has the figure of a frog, with a curved shape and organic forms. The whole structure shows the natural plasticity of glass, and show a mottled and changing chromatism, the result of the combination of colorless glass, cobalt blue glass and gold leaf, all these components mixed in hot, so that merge without mixing completely, adapting to the plastic forms of the design.
