He began his training with the Valencian painter Vicente Borrás y Abellá. In 1907 he traveled to Paris and Venice to extend his artistic studies; in the French capital he entered the Academy of the Grande Chaumière. He participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions, won a silver medal at the International Exhibition of Barcelona in 1911, third medal at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in 1920 and second in the 1922 edition, for the canvases La novia de Espronceda and El balcón, respectively. He also participated in the International Exhibitions of Amsterdam, Basel, Brighton and San Francisco. He practiced mural painting, in whose activity it is worth mentioning the ornamentation of the panel dedicated to the monastery of Poblet in the hall of San Jorge of the Diputación de Barcelona.
